May Calendar!

30 minutes added beginning on April 20th!

Under state law, we are required to attend school for a minimum of 1,062 hours each year and have at least 170 school days.  In order to meet these requirements, we will now be in school on April 10, May 28 and May 29, and add an additional 30 minutes per day beginning April 20, 2015.  School will dismiss at 3:05 starting on April 20th.

The five day test window is as follows:
Wednesday, May 13th
Thursday, May 14th
Friday, May15th
Monday, May 18th
Wednesday, May 20th
Note that May 19th is an Election Day and school is not in session.

LTMS will be hosting a 6th Grade Orientation for all incoming 6th graders on Thursday April 30th from 6-7:30.  This is a  great time for the new incoming 6th graders as well as parents to take a tour of the school, meet our staff, ask questions and learn more about academic and extracurricular opportunities.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our counselors, Mrs. Haney or Mrs. Turner 381-3192.

Meadowthorpe’s Five Paradigms:

Every Mustang is a leader.

Every Mustang is gifted.

Every Mustang is at-risk.

We treat/teach every Mustang as if his or her parents are in the room.

Calumet Farm treats every foal like it is the next Triple Crown winner; we treat every Mustang as if he or she is the next President, inventor, author, artist, doctor, or next great _____ !
