Ronald Mc Donald House

Do you know what RMH stands for? Well, it stands for Ronald McDonald House, but for parents with sick kids, it sometimes means hope. Why you ask? They’re a non-profit organization that gives parents and other family members a place to stay while a severely sick child in their family stays in the hospital.

            Without profit, how does the building survive? Well, they get money from pop-tabs on soda cans! People send in the metal tabs and the RMH sends them to a recycling company and gets 75 cents per pound of aluminum. Anyone can help! Just bring in the pop-tabs to school, put them in a collection box, and the school will do the rest. The money they earn goes entirely towards the charity and helping sick kids in need. So remember a little piece of metal can really make a difference!
