Meadowthorpe Elementary

Holly as a page

KY SENATE IS IN SESSION AND MEADOWTHORPE IS THERE!!!!

Thanks to the generous support of Senator Reginald Thomas, several
Meadowthorpe students have served as a page on the Kentucky Senate this
session. Each page is introduced to the full Senate and given privileges of
the floor for the day. While they are serving they assist the Senator when
the Senator needs a message delivered to another Senator or needs a drink of
water. The pages also have the opportunity to witness our legislative
process in action. Several bills have been debated and voted on in each
session.

The following students are scheduled to or already have served as a page in
the 2014 spring session.

Alexander Losch
Alexander Halliday
Evan Adkins
Holly Katte
Zoe Leindecker
Zoe Jenkins
Juliann Hyatt
Eli Brown
Gabe Brown

Senator Thomas has enjoyed having Meadowthorpe students serve as a page and
he is looking forward to continuing this new tradition with Meadowthorpe
students in the next session.

Thank you Meadowthorpe parent Melissa Bright for helping our students with this great opportunity!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MEADOWTHORPE ACADEMIC TEAM!!!
