The Ojibwa ate lots foods.  They at rice, vegetables, fish, cranberries, raspberry, pudding, fruits, nuts, otter, mink, fox, rabbit, beaver, bear and deer.  Trapping animals was one source of food.  Another source of food was growing vegetables and fruit and they had tobacco.

The Ojibwa harvested wild rice and maple sugar.  They farmed a little bit.  They also gathered things from nature.  The Ojibwa farmed corn squash beans and tobacco.  Gathering is how the Ojibwa got most of their food.

The Ojibwa did lots of trapping.  That is a main source of how they got food.  They trapped animals on land and in sea.  Trapping is very big in the Ojibwa culture.  The people in the tribe were skilled trappers.
