Language and communication was very important to the Native Americans.
They used many different ways to communicate.
Some examples of types of communication they used were story telling,
sign language, word pictures, and speaking.
Each tribe had their own traditional type of communicating to pass down
stories and information. The Native
American languages were used in many unique ways.
